First time trying pole? Get started with one of two options:

Intro to Pole

Intro to Pole: A standalone class that gives you an introduction to Studio K, pole dancing equipment, safety, and grips. You will also learn basic pole moves on static and spin pole!

Why choose this option? If you are eager to start learning pole, attend one class to unlock Pole L1 classes!

Offered: 1-2 times per month. If the timing doesn't work with your schedule, we also offer private or semi-private lessons for Intro to Pole - reach out to info@studiokpole.com for details!

Cost: $25 - purchase Intro to Pole credit, and be sure to complete the booking!

Intro to Studio K

Intro to Studio K: A series of 3 classes that will give you a taste of all the different class offerings at Studio K.

Session 1: This class will start with an introduction to Studio K, pole dancing equipment, safety, and grips. Then you'll learn basic pole dance and floorwork moves and put them together in a short combo!

Session 2: You'll hear a brief history of pole dance, build on Session 1 by trying out spin pole, and get a sampler of our Low Flow class!

Session 3: Learn about the importance of flexibility, mobility, and conditioning to pole dancing, and get a sampler of our Flexibility Flow, Active Flexibility, and Pole Conditioning classes!

Why choose this option? Attend this series if you want a thorough introduction to pole and to test out the other class offerings! Plus, it’s a great deal for 3 classes.

Offered: Once per month. All 3 classes are booked together and are not transferrable to other series, so plan to attend all 3!

Cost: $50 for all 3 classes with the Intro to Studio K class pack, valid only for the Intro to Studio K series

Check the schedule for the next availability. Don't see the class you want? Keep an eye out! We add new classes to the schedule around the 15th of every month.

FAQs

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing with exposed skin or grippy material on your legs and arms. For example shorts and a tank top or sports bra, or a cute pole outfit! Please remove jewelry and don't apply lotion or oils before class. You can wear socks or go barefoot.

What should I bring?

Yourself and a water bottle (we have a water cooler if you forget)

When should I arrive to class?

Doors will open ten minutes before class starts. Plan to be on time - late entries are not allowed. If this is your first class at Studio K, show up ten minutes early to be introduced to the studio and sign our waiver.

Do I need to already have dance experience, be fit and flexible, and have upper body strength?

No! Our classes are for everybody, with offerings that start on the beginner level. We can't wait to welcome you to the studio as you are.

Are your classes open to all genders?

Yes! Studio K is an inclusive space. Everyone who upholds our community values is welcome.
